Teeth Straightening with Invisalign® Invisible Braces
If you’re bothered by teeth that are crooked, uneven, or have gaps between them, we can help. Our certified Invisalign® dentists at Two Rivers Family Dentistry can give you straighter teeth using clear aligners. These invisible braces allow us to gradually correct the spacing of your teeth without the need for any invasive procedures, or traditional metal braces.
Invisalign® treats a range of conditions for both teens and adults, including:
- Crowded teeth
- Tooth gap
- Underbite
- Overbite
- Crossbite
Invisalign® is also known as “invisible braces,” and it’s a low-impact, teeth-straightening solution. The Invisalign® aligners are plastic, smooth, and very durable. They’re comfortable to wear and can easily be removed when you’re eating or brushing your teeth.
If you would like to learn more about Invisalign®, give us a call. One of our friendly staff members here at Two Rivers Family Dentistry will walk you through the process and answer any questions you may have.
Then, if you decide to proceed, we’ll make an appointment to custom fit Invisalign® invisible aligners to your teeth using fixtures to which the Invisalign® aligners are attached. After that, we will see you for a series of follow-up appointments where we’ll make adjustments to the aligners to gradually shift all your teeth into the desired position.
How Long Will It Take for Invisalign® to Straighten My Teeth?
While the treatment time can vary from patient to patient, the total time you’ll need to wear your Invisalign® aligners can be as short as 12 weeks. To achieve the best results, we recommend that patients wear their aligners at least 22 hours a day, including during sleep.
Is Invisalign® Right for Me?
Most people with full-grown adult teeth are a good candidate for Invisalign if they want to achieve a straighter smile. However, smokers and/or people who drink a lot of beverages with a tendency to leave stains—such as coffee, tea, or red wine—might want to consider another approach to teeth straightening, since those activities will likely stain your aligners.
